Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line your baking tin.

    Gather all ingredients.

    Cream together the wet ingredients until smooth and well combined.

    Sift and fold in the dry ingredients. Mix until you have a smooth batter.

    Pour the batter into the prepared tin and tap to remove air bubbles.

    Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Let the cake cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
